About Gloveworth

Gloveworth is an independent, fan-made ledger of CS2 gloves: all 94 finishes, the eight families they belong to, the containers and trade-ups that produce them, and price bands read on stated days. It is written by people who trade skins as a hobby and got tired of guides that quote a price with no date and a case with no odds.

How the bands are read

On a read-day we open the listing pages for every glove finish across the marketplaces we track, note the lowest Battle-Scarred and lowest Factory New listings, and write them down as a band with that date. The current read is 9 September 2026. We do not average trackers, we do not smooth, and we do not extrapolate — when two trackers disagree we say so. Rules and dates come from Valve's own update notes and the community item database; the sources for every fact are kept in a ledger we publish on request.

What we will not do

We may cover case-opening and skin-betting sites, but we never link to scams. A guide that tells you which case to open for gloves is, on our maths, telling you to spend about a thousand dollars for a pair that lists at $27.

We also do not show live prices. A static page that pretends to be a ticker is lying by the time you read it; a band with a date is honest about what it knows. And we do not call gloves an investment. They are the thing you look at most in a match, and the point of the ledger is to pay a fair band for the pair you actually want.

Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2 and all item names and imagery are property of Valve; renders are shown nominatively to identify the items being discussed and are served from our own site. Corrections

If a band is stale, a date is wrong or a rule has changed, tell us: contact the desk. Corrections move the date on the page they touch, and the ledger is re-read at least monthly.
