The glover’s ledger

Every glove in the game, priced in bands, dated.

Ninety-four glove finishes, eight families, three ways a pair enters the game — and a price band for each one with the day we read it printed beside it. No live tickers, no scam links, no guessing.

How the ledger works

Every price on this site is a band read on a stated day, not a live number. We read the lowest Battle-Scarred and lowest Factory New listings for all 94 glove finishes on 9 September 2026, wrote them down, and printed the date beside them; when we re-read the ledger the date moves with the numbers. A static site cannot honestly show you a ticker, so it does the one thing tickers cannot: it tells you when it looked.

The complete CS2 gloves guide is the spine: all eight families ranked for a first pair, the container each set drops from, the trade-up rule as Valve wrote it, and the full 94-row table. Each family then gets its own fitting with renders, wear notes and per-finish bands, and the cheapest gloves page tracks the floor.

What changed for gloves since 2025

Two things, and both matter more than any single price. On 22 October 2025 Valve let five Covert skins trade up into a knife or a pair of gloves from the same container, and glove prices roughly halved within days. On 11 March 2026 the Dead Hand Collection added 22 new gloves — the first since December 2020 — delivered through a sealed terminal rather than a case. The old assumptions about scarcity, and the old price lists, are both out of date; ours carry the dates so you can see which world they belong to.

What we will never do

We may cover case-opening and skin-betting sites, but we will never link to scams. We link established marketplaces through disclosed /go/ links, we never quote a price without its read-date, and we do not call gloves an investment. They are a cosmetic you look at for hundreds of hours; the point of the ledger is to help you pay a fair band for the pair you actually want.

Questions at the counter

How many gloves are there in CS2?

Ninety-four glove finishes across eight families, counted from the item database on 9 September 2026: Driver (20), Sport (19), Specialist (19), Moto (12), Hand Wraps (12), Bloodhound (4), Hydra (4) and Broken Fang (4). Twenty-two of them arrived on 11 March 2026 with the Dead Hand Collection, the first new gloves since December 2020.

Why are Factory New gloves so much more expensive?

Because every glove's float window runs from 0.06 to 0.80, and Factory New only covers 0.06 to 0.07 — one hundredth of the float bar. Supply at that wear is tiny, so FN listings are thin and trackers can disagree by half on the same day. Field-Tested is where most of the market actually trades.

Where do gloves actually come from?

Three routes. Seven weapon cases carry gloves as their rare special item (Glove, Operation Hydra, Clutch, Operation Broken Fang, Snakebite, Recoil, Revolution). The Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, a weekly drop since 11 March 2026, offers Dead Hand items at prices Valve sets. And since the 22 October 2025 update, five Covert skins from one of those containers can be traded up into a glove from that container's pool.

What happened to glove prices in October 2025?

The trade-up update made gloves craftable from five Covert skins, and most glove prices roughly halved within days; several trackers put the high end down 65–70 percent in the first 48 hours. Prices have not returned to the old levels: a Nov 2025 ranking and our 9 September 2026 read show the top Sport Gloves at about half their earlier ceilings.

Are the prices on this site live?

No. This is a static ledger: every figure is a band with the date we read it, and each glove links out to established marketplaces where you check the live number. We never link to scams.
