Privacy policy
Gloveworth is a static website. Reading it sends your browser's ordinary request data (IP address, user agent, the page requested) to our hosting provider and to Cloudflare, which serves the site; those logs are retained for a short period for security and are not used to identify readers. We set no advertising cookies and run no ad pixels; the only measurement on the site is Google Analytics 4, explained under Analytics below.
Affiliate redirects
Links to marketplaces pass through /go/ addresses on this site before redirecting to the vendor. The redirect itself stores nothing about you; the vendor's site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us, under its own privacy policy. We receive aggregate commission reports from vendors and never receive your name, account or purchase details.
Newsletter
If you enter an email address in the re-check form, it is stored by our email service provider solely to send you the monthly ledger re-check. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time by writing to [email protected].
Analytics
Gloveworth uses Google Analytics 4, supplied by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd., to count which glove pages get read. What it records: the pages you view, the site that sent you, an approximate city or country, your device and browser type, and the timing of your session. What it does not record: IP addresses, which Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are off, so nothing here is used for advertising, and the data is not sold.
GA4 places two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, each lasting up to two years — and only once analytics is allowed.
Readers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get a banner first; until Accept is clicked, nothing goes to Google. Readers elsewhere start with analytics on and can switch it off at any point, and a browser that sends Global Privacy Control is treated as opted out. Your choice is kept in local storage under the key analytics-consent, not in a cookie.
Change your analytics choice at any time. For Google's own terms see the Google privacy policy; to block Google Analytics in your browser altogether, use Google's opt-out add-on.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what data we hold about you (in practice: an email address if you subscribed, plus the Google Analytics visit data described above if you allowed analytics), ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Write to [email protected]. This policy was last revised on 9 October 2026 and changes are noted here.
