Specialist Gloves in CS2: All 19 Finishes, Bands and Which Case (2026)

Specialist Gloves are the tactical glove — padded knuckles, a wide cuff, hand-stitched leather — and the family with the biggest spread between floor and ceiling: on 9 September 2026 Buckshot listed from about $36 in Battle-Scarred while a Factory New Crimson Kimono asked about $8,400. Nineteen finishes span all four sets, and because the cuff is wide and the back of the hand is flat, more of the design shows in first person than on any family except Moto.
What Specialist Gloves are
Valve's text: "durable, breathable, and stylish; these gloves are designed to take (and give) a beating." In practice a Specialist is a padded tactical glove with a wide Velcro cuff, and the finish covers the back of the hand, the padding and the cuff, which is why prints like Crimson Kimono's diamonds and Fade's gradient read so clearly. Four came with the Glove Case in 2016, four in the Clutch set in 2018, four in the Broken Fang set in 2020, and seven in the Dead Hand Collection on 11 March 2026.
The Glove Case set: Crimson Kimono, Emerald Web, Foundation, Forest DDPAT

Crimson Kimono is the third most expensive glove in the game and the most expensive outside the Sport family at ≈$1,086 BS to ≈$8,390 FN; Emerald Web (≈$308 BS to ≈$3,985 FN) is the green spiderweb and the set's second prize; Foundation (≈$144 BS to ≈$1,600 FN) is the white-black-orange pair that the item text says was inspired by the Asiimov weapon line; Forest DDPAT (≈$95 BS to ≈$614 FN) is the camo. All four are Glove Case and Hydra items with thin supply, and their mid-wear asks can sit out of order — on our read-day a Forest DDPAT in Field-Tested asked more than twice its Well-Worn price. Judge them by float and by how many listings exist.
The Clutch set: Fade, Crimson Web, Buckshot, Mogul

Fade is the Clutch set's collector Specialist at ≈$99 BS to ≈$1,750 FN and the glove people mean when they search "fade gloves"; Crimson Web (≈$86 BS to ≈$1,073 FN) is the red-and-grey rubberised web; Buckshot (≈$36 BS to ≈$204 FN) is the khaki hunting glove and the family floor; Mogul (≈$74 BS to ≈$500 FN) is the wintery ski-hill pair. Clutch and Revolution cases, craftable from five Revolution Coverts at about $110, so Buckshot and Mogul will stay cheap.

The Broken Fang set: Marble Fade, Field Agent, Tiger Strike, Lt. Commander

Marble Fade (≈$95 BS to ≈$1,451 FN) is the Broken Fang set's answer to Fade and the more liquid of the two at the mid-band; Field Agent (≈$79 BS to ≈$878 FN) is the green tactical pair and the second-cheapest Specialist; Tiger Strike (≈$90 BS to ≈$988 FN) is the orange tiger stripe; Lt. Commander (≈$73 BS to ≈$516 FN) is the light camo and the cheapest of the four in Factory New. Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil cases; five Snakebite or Recoil Coverts craft one for about $115–130.

The seven Dead Hand Specialists
Pillow Punchers (≈$225 BS to ≈$4,168 FN) is the 2026 set's most expensive Specialist and its second most expensive glove overall; Cloud Chaser (≈$265 BS to ≈$1,882 FN) and Blackbook (≈$168 BS to ≈$1,600 FN) are the next tier; Lime Polycam (≈$160 BS to ≈$1,565 FN) is the lime camo; Big Swell (≈$123 BS to ≈$1,394 FN) the wave; Sunburst (≈$114 BS to ≈$960 FN) the orange-to-red gradient; Chocolate Chesterfield (≈$70 BS to ≈$846 FN) the brown quilted pair and the cheapest of the seven. Terminal-only, or five Dead Hand Coverts at about $165. Renders in the 22 new gloves.
Fade or Marble Fade: which one
Fade if you want the glove people recognise; Marble Fade if you want the better float for the money. Fade (≈$99 BS to ≈$1,750 FN) is the 2018 original with the pink-purple-gold sweep, its ceiling is higher and its Field-Tested pairs are the family's most traded; Marble Fade (≈$95 BS to ≈$1,451 FN) is the 2020 answer with a tighter marble pattern, and because the Broken Fang set refills from cheaper Coverts its Field-Tested floor sat lower on 9 September 2026. On both, the gradient's position on the back of the hand shifts slightly between pairs, so look at the render, not just the float, before you pay. Neither has a pattern index worth chasing; the differences are cosmetic and the resale is the same.
One trap: both look their best in Minimal Wear and both are sold most in Field-Tested, and the price gap between those tiers is roughly three to one. A Field-Tested pair under 0.20 float is the honest middle — it keeps the metallic accents that make the finish and costs a third of the tier above.
Wear on Specialist Gloves
The padding is the problem. Knuckle pads and fingertips are raised, and raised leather scuffs first, so a Specialist above about 0.35 float shows pale patches exactly where you look; the flat back of the hand, where the pattern lives, survives longer. Patterned finishes (Crimson Kimono, Fade, Crimson Web, Marble Fade) therefore age better than dyed ones (Buckshot, Field Agent, Mogul). Buy Field-Tested under 0.25 for dyed finishes; patterned ones are fine to 0.35.

Which case, and where to buy
All seven glove cases plus the Dead Hand Terminal carry Specialists, so the routes in the complete CS2 gloves guide all apply. For Fade or Marble Fade, where the gradient's position varies slightly and the float matters, use a listing with a render and a float filter (CSFloat, Skinport); for Buckshot at the floor, any marketplace or bot will do. Expected spend to pull any glove from a Clutch Case at the reported 0.26 percent is roughly $1,100 (385 openings at about $2.95 with key); a Buckshot listing is $36.

Which case has Specialist Gloves?
Every glove case: Glove Case and Hydra (Crimson Kimono, Emerald Web, Foundation, Forest DDPAT), Clutch and Revolution (Fade, Crimson Web, Buckshot, Mogul), Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil (Marble Fade, Field Agent, Tiger Strike, Lt. Commander), and the Dead Hand Terminal for the 2026 seven.
Why is Crimson Kimono so expensive?
It is a 2016 Glove Case item with tiny supply, a pattern that reads perfectly in first person, and the most recognisable red glove in the game. It halved after the October 2025 trade-up update and still lists past $8,000 in Factory New.
Every band in this fitting comes from the same read as the complete CS2 gloves guide, where all 94 finishes sit in one table.
