Bloodhound, Hydra and Broken Fang Gloves: The 12 Fingerless CS2 Gloves (2026)

Bloodhound, Hydra and Broken Fang Gloves: The 12 Fingerless CS2 Gloves (2026)

Bloodhound, Hydra and Broken Fang Gloves are the same glove three times: a fingerless studded leather design badged with an operation logo, four finishes each, one family per case set. Hydra holds the cheapest gloves in the game (Rattler and Mangrove at about $26 on 9 September 2026), Bloodhound is the 2016 original with the thinnest supply, and Broken Fang is the 2020 set with Jade, the one people search for. This fitting covers all twelve and the one finish among them with a pattern worth checking.

What the three families are

Each is "fingerless gloves … decorated with metal studs and the Operation logo" in Valve's item text — Bloodhound for the 2015 operation, Hydra for 2017, Broken Fang for 2020. The cut is identical: cut-off fingers, a studded strap, a plain leather back. Bloodhound came with the Glove Case on 28 November 2016 (and re-appeared in the Hydra Case), Hydra Gloves with the Clutch Case on 14 February 2018 (and the Revolution Case), and Broken Fang Gloves with the Operation Broken Fang Case on 3 December 2020 (and Snakebite and Recoil). The 2026 Dead Hand set added no fingerless gloves.

Hydra Gloves: Emerald, Case Hardened, Mangrove, Rattler

Hydra Gloves | Emerald — glove render
Hydra Gloves | Emerald — black leather with a varnished green emblem. ≈$31 BS to ≈$156 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Emerald (≈$31 BS to ≈$156 FN) is the black one and the pick of the four; Case Hardened (≈$51 BS to ≈$315 FN) is vegan leather printed with a variegated metallic pattern that changes with the pattern index — the only fingerless glove where two pairs at the same float can look different, and the reason it costs twice its siblings; Mangrove (≈$26 BS to ≈$112 FN, leather, mesh and brass) and Rattler (≈$26 BS to ≈$108 FN, leather, snakeskin and brass) are the two cheapest gloves in the game. Clutch and Revolution cases, craftable from five Revolution Coverts at about $110, which is why they are the floor.

Broken Fang Gloves: Jade, Unhinged, Yellow-banded, Needle Point

Broken Fang Gloves | Jade — glove render
Broken Fang Gloves | Jade — the green one. ≈$60 BS to ≈$549 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Jade (≈$60 BS to ≈$549 FN) is the searched-for finish and the only one of the twelve with a Factory New price above $500; Unhinged (≈$44 BS to ≈$263 FN) is the second most wanted; Yellow-banded (≈$40 BS to ≈$258 FN) is the yellow-striped snake pattern; Needle Point (≈$38 BS to ≈$155 FN) is the cheapest. Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil cases; five Snakebite or Recoil Coverts craft one for about $115–130.

Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged — glove render
Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged. ≈$44 BS to ≈$263 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Bloodhound Gloves: Charred, Guerrilla, Bronzed, Snakebite

Bloodhound Gloves | Charred — glove render
Bloodhound Gloves | Charred — classic black supple leather. ≈$95 BS to ≈$447 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Charred (≈$95 BS to ≈$447 FN) is the black original and the most expensive of the four; Guerrilla (≈$67 BS to ≈$356 FN) is brown leather with a camo print; Bronzed (≈$59 BS to ≈$434 FN) is gun-metal and bronze dye; Snakebite (≈$62 BS to ≈$355 FN) is leather and snakeskin. Glove Case and Hydra items — the cases are long out of the drop pool and five of their Coverts cost about $1,150 to craft, so the floor here is roughly double Hydra's for the same cut.

Hydra, Broken Fang or Bloodhound: which one

Hydra if the price is the point, Broken Fang if you want the one people recognise, Bloodhound only if the 2016 provenance matters to you. The cut is the same across all three, so the decision is colour and money: Hydra Gloves | Emerald is the best plain black at ≈$31 BS to ≈$156 FN, Broken Fang Gloves | Jade the best green at ≈$60 BS to ≈$549 FN, and Bloodhound Gloves | Charred the same black as Emerald without the badge at three times the floor (≈$95 BS to ≈$447 FN). Case Hardened is the odd one out — a Hydra glove whose metallic print varies by pattern index — and the only fingerless pair we would inspect before buying.

In first person the three are hard to tell apart beyond the badge, which is a small logo on the strap. That makes the fingerless trio the family where a cheaper sibling is a free substitution: a loadout built around a Charred works with an Emerald at a third of the price, and nobody in the server will know. The one place the families differ on screen is the hide itself — Bloodhound's supple black and Hydra's vegan leather take light differently — and at match distance that difference is gone.

Wear on fingerless gloves

The leather back is small and mostly flat, so scuffing shows less than on any full glove; the studs and strap stay bright to the top of the float window. That makes these the family where Battle-Scarred is least punishing — a 0.6 Emerald still reads as a black glove with a green badge. The exception is Case Hardened, where high float dulls the metallic print you are paying for; buy that one in Field-Tested and check the pattern render before you pay.

Which case, and where to buy

Hydra Gloves come from the Clutch and Revolution cases, Broken Fang Gloves from Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil, and Bloodhound from the Glove Case and Hydra Case; none comes from the Dead Hand Terminal. The routes and fees are in the complete CS2 gloves guide. At $26–60 the float filter matters less than the price, so any marketplace or trade bot is fine — except for Case Hardened, where you want a listing that shows the pattern render, which means Skinport or CSFloat. Expected spend to pull any glove from a Revolution Case at the reported 0.26 percent is about $1,000; a Rattler is $26.

Questions at the counter

What are the cheapest gloves in CS2?

Hydra Gloves | Rattler and Mangrove at about $26 in Battle-Scarred on 9 September 2026, then Driver Gloves | Racing Green at about $27 and Hydra Gloves | Emerald at about $31.

How much are Jade gloves?

Broken Fang Gloves | Jade listed from about $60 in Battle-Scarred to about $549 in Factory New on 9 September 2026.

Do Hydra Gloves Case Hardened have patterns?

Yes — the metallic print varies with the pattern index, so two pairs at the same float can look different. It is the only fingerless glove worth inspecting before buying, and it costs about twice its Hydra siblings.

Are Bloodhound Gloves rare?

Rarer than Hydra or Broken Fang: they come only from the 2016 Glove Case and 2017 Hydra Case, neither of which still drops, and crafting one costs about $1,150 in Coverts. That shows as thin, erratic mid-wear listings rather than high prices — Charred, the dearest, listed from about $95.

Every band in this fitting comes from the same read as the complete CS2 gloves guide, where all 94 finishes sit in one table.
