Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard in CS2: Price per Wear and the Best White Glove Alternatives (2026)

Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard cost $175 in Battle-Scarred and $211 in Field-Tested on 10 October 2026, $458 in Minimal Wear and $1,677 in Factory New. They are Driver Gloves, not Sport Gloves, and they first dropped from Operation Broken Fang's case on 3 December 2020; the Snakebite and Recoil cases later reused the same set.
Buy them if you want the best-known white glove and can settle for Field-Tested, where the price is a fraction of Minimal Wear. Skip them if a cleaner, cheaper white will do: King Snake, Black Tie and Creme Pinstripe all started under $90 on the same read.
Snow Leopard at a glance
Snow Leopard is a Driver Glove: the leather driving cut with a short cuff, which Valve's item text describes as offering "protection from the elements while still maintaining tactile sensation". The finish is a pale leopard print, and that is why it gets filed as a white glove. Several price pages label it a Sport Glove; the item itself is ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard, which matters when you search a market, because a search for Sport Gloves will not find it.
It is one of 24 gloves in the 2020 set. The set came with the Operation Broken Fang Case on 3 December 2020, not in October 2020 as some pages say, and it includes Nocts, Black Tie, Rezan the Red, CAUTION! and the four Broken Fang Gloves. The Driver Gloves fitting covers the rest of the family.
Price per wear, 10 October 2026
| # | Wear | Float | Cheapest listing | Pairs (est.) | 1-year change |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | FN | 0.06–0.07 | $1,677 | 210 | −49% |
| #2 | MW | 0.07–0.15 | $458 | 6,800 | −65% |
| #3 | FT | 0.15–0.38 | $211 | 23,900 | −60% |
| #4 | WW | 0.38–0.45 | $194 | 3,200 | n/a |
| #5 | BS | 0.45–0.80 | $175 | 5,000 | −51% |
The ladder is flat at the bottom and steep at the top. Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested sat within $36 of each other ($175, $194, $211), so a low-float Field-Tested pair costs barely more than a scarred one. Minimal Wear roughly doubles that, and Factory New is more than three times Minimal Wear. If you have seen a page that prints the same price for Factory New and Battle-Scarred, it is wrong: on our read the gap was almost tenfold.
Steam's own Market charges more. The cheapest Field-Tested pair there was $295.00 on 10 October 2026, against $211 across other markets, because Steam sells for wallet funds and takes a 15% fee. That gap is normal for gloves and worth knowing before you compare a Steam listing with anything else.
The chart shows how far the glove has come down. Every wear peaked between December 2020 and June 2021, in the months after launch, and the latest fall came with the trade-up change: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred all hit their all-time lows on 24 October 2025, two days after five-Covert contracts started producing gloves. Factory New set its own low of $1,706 on the index on 21 August 2026.
Origin: Broken Fang, Snakebite, Recoil

Three cases carry the 2020 glove set and so can give a Snow Leopard. Operation Broken Fang introduced it on 3 December 2020. Valve's Snakebite Case of 3 May 2021 brought back the Broken Fang gloves as its rare special items, and the Recoil Case of 1 July 2022 did the same. On Steam on 10 October 2026 the Broken Fang Case listed at $7.45, the Snakebite at $0.49 and the Recoil at $0.29.
From any of them the chance of a glove is 0.26% per opening, roughly 1 in 385, going by Valve's 2017 odds for its Chinese client, and Snow Leopard is then one of 24. Trading up, possible since 22 October 2025, costs less: five AWP Chromatic Aberration from the Recoil collection came to about $119 on our read and return a random 2020-set glove, whose Battle-Scarred floors averaged $83. Our glove cases guide has the full cost of every route. A Field-Tested Snow Leopard bought outright costs less than two of those contracts and is not a gamble.
Snow Leopard within its Driver set
The 2020 set has four Driver Gloves, and Snow Leopard is the dear one. On 10 October 2026 Queen Jaguar started at $41, Rezan the Red at $49 and Black Tie at $83, against $175 for Snow Leopard. In Factory New the order holds: $390, $552, $1,081 and $1,677.
All four come from the same three cases at the same odds, so the premium is demand for the print, not scarcity of the glove: the tracker counted about 39,100 Snow Leopard pairs, a large population for a glove at this price. That is useful if you are buying, because a deep Field-Tested market means plenty of floats to choose from, and less useful if you hope it will climb, because there is no shortage to drive it.
Cheaper white-glove alternatives
If the leopard print is not the point, white is cheaper elsewhere. Sport Gloves | Creme Pinstripe, a 2026 cream glove from the Dead Hand Terminal, started at $65. Driver Gloves | Black Tie, black and white from the same 2020 set as Snow Leopard, started at $83, and Driver Gloves | King Snake, white leather with snakeskin from the 2018 set, at $87. Those three are the value picks.
Only one white in this group costs more than Snow Leopard. Moto Gloves | Spearmint, white leather from the original 2016 set, started at $277 and reached $5,146 in Factory New. Specialist Gloves | Foundation ($147) and the 2026 Driver Gloves | Wave Chaser ($113) fall between the value picks and Snow Leopard. Our gloves by colour page sorts every glove the same way, and the cheapest CS2 gloves page has the sub-$50 options in every colour.
For any white glove, buy on a market that shows float and offers an inspect, because the float decides how clean a pale glove looks. We use SkinBaron and DMarket for gloves; a purchase through either can pay this site a referral fee with no change to your price, which has no effect on the bands, and neither one opens cases.
Edge cases
Older screenshots may not match what you see now. On 15 October 2025 Valve shipped "skinning fixes on Driver Gloves and Sport Gloves", and on 12 November 2025 inventory glove models moved to the same animation system as the first-person view, so a showcase from before then can show the glove sitting differently on the hand. Snow Leopard, like every glove, has no StatTrak or Souvenir version, so two pairs in the same wear differ only in float and pattern seed. And because Factory New is about 210 pairs on the tracker's count, its price can move by hundreds of dollars on a single sale.
