Sport Gloves | Vice in CS2: Price per Wear, Float, Cases and Knife Pairings (2026)

Sport Gloves | Vice cost $229 in Battle-Scarred and $339 in Field-Tested on 10 October 2026, $1,074 in Minimal Wear and $5,600 in Factory New. They come from the Clutch Case, released in February 2018, and the Revolution Case of 9 February 2023, never from any other container, and like every glove they only exist between 0.06 and 0.80 float.
Buy them if you want the most recognisable pink glove in the game and can live with a Field-Tested pair, which is where nine-tenths of the price disappears. Skip them if you need Factory New on a budget, or if you hope they will hold value: Vice lost about 71% in Field-Tested over the past year.
Vice at a glance
Valve's item text describes Vice as synthetic gloves "crafted from a striking mix of pink and blue technical fabrics", and that is the whole appeal: a slim athletic glove in two saturated colours that read clearly at any distance. They are a Sport Glove and part of the 24-glove set that shipped with the Clutch Case. Some pages date Vice to December 2017, which is the date community item databases first list it; players could only get it once the Clutch Case went live in February 2018.
Vice is also plentiful. One tracker, csgoskins.gg, counted about 51,400 pairs in circulation on 10 October 2026, most of them Field-Tested. That depth is why the price ladder below is reliable in the middle wears and shaky at the top. For the rest of the family, see the Sport Gloves fitting.
Price per wear, 10 October 2026
| # | Wear | Float | Cheapest listing | Pairs (est.) | 1-year change |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | FN | 0.06–0.07 | $5,600 | 300 | −67% |
| #2 | MW | 0.07–0.15 | $1,074 | 8,900 | −75% |
| #3 | FT | 0.15–0.38 | $339 | 31,400 | −71% |
| #4 | WW | 0.38–0.45 | $295 | 4,100 | n/a |
| #5 | BS | 0.45–0.80 | $229 | 6,600 | −61% |
The steepest step is the one most buyers never take. Minimal Wear costs about three times Field-Tested, and Factory New about five times Minimal Wear. Well-Worn ($295) sits between Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred and is only 0.07 of float wide, so it is the smallest pool of pairs below Minimal Wear and worth checking when Field-Tested listings look picked over.
The year-on-year column is the honest part of the table. Vice's Factory New peaked at $42,079 on 8 June 2021 on the same tracker and its Field-Tested at $2,099 on 21 April 2023. Battle-Scarred set its all-time low of $225 on 24 October 2025, 48 hours after the five-Covert glove trade-up arrived, and has barely moved since.
How Vice looks across the float range
Every glove's float runs from 0.06 to 0.80, so Factory New is the sliver from 0.06 to 0.07 and Battle-Scarred stops at 0.80 rather than 1.00. We have not inspected Vice pairs float by float, so we will not tell you the exact point where the pink starts to look tired; check the inspect link or screenshot on any listing before you pay. What the market does tell you is where buyers draw the line: they pay about three times more to cross from Field-Tested into Minimal Wear, and only about 15% more to go from Well-Worn to Field-Tested.
Two Valve changes matter if you are judging Vice from old screenshots. On 15 October 2025 Valve shipped "skinning fixes on Driver Gloves and Sport Gloves", and on 12 November 2025 glove models in the inventory switched to the same animation system as first-person gloves. On 1 October 2025 spectators also started seeing the wear and pattern of a player's gloves in the loadout view. If a showcase predates those, the model you buy today may sit slightly differently on the hand.
Where it drops: Clutch and Revolution
Vice is a rare special item in two cases. The Clutch Case brought the set in February 2018, and Valve reused it on 9 February 2023, when the Revolution Case shipped with the Clutch Case gloves as its rare special items. On Steam on 10 October 2026 the Clutch Case listed at $0.63 and the Revolution Case at $0.21.
Neither is a sensible way to get a Vice. A rare special item comes up 0.26% of the time, about once in 385 openings, using the odds Valve disclosed for its Chinese client in 2017, and Vice is then one of 24 gloves. The trade-up is cheaper but just as random. Five M4A4 Temukau from the Revolution Case cost about $114 on our read, and since 22 October 2025 they return one glove from the Clutch set; the set's Battle-Scarred floors averaged $70. Our glove cases guide has the full cost table. Buying a Field-Tested Vice outright costs about three times the contract and gets you the glove you actually want.
Vice against the other Clutch Sport Gloves
Vice shares its set with three other Sport Gloves, and they make a useful price check. On 10 October 2026 Bronze Morph started at $61.35, Omega at $113 and Amphibious at $174, against $229 for Vice, all in their cheapest wear. At the top the gap is wider: the cheapest Factory New Vice was $5,600, more than twice an Amphibious ($2,240) and over four times an Omega ($1,230).
So the Vice premium is real but moderate at the floor and steep at the top. If you like the slim Sport cut and do not need pink specifically, Amphibious (blue and white) gives you the same glove shape from the same cases for less; if pink is the point, nothing else in the 2018 set replaces Vice.
Knife pairings that work
Vice is two colours, so the knife either picks up the pink or the blue. The finishes that do it are the ones with pink in them: Fade (a pink-to-purple gradient), Doppler Phase 2 (the pink phase) and, more loosely, Marble Fade. Price matters as much as colour. Our own rule is to keep the knife and the gloves within the same order of spend, so neither half of the loadout looks like an afterthought.
The cheapest coherent loadout we priced was a Battle-Scarred Vice with a Paracord Fade, about $348 together. At around $550 a Field-Tested Vice pairs with a Survival Doppler Phase 2 or a Nomad Fade; at about $1,000 the Skeleton Doppler Phase 2 or Talon Fade; and a Karambit Fade with Field-Tested Vice came to about $1,879. More combinations, across every glove family, are in knife and glove combos.
If you are buying, pick a market that shows float on the listing so you can target a low Field-Tested pair. We use SkinBaron and DMarket for gloves in this range. Both may pay this site a small referral fee without raising your price, the bands on this page were read before any link went in, and neither is a case-opening site.
Edge cases
Gloves have no StatTrak or Souvenir version, so two Vice pairs in the same wear differ only by float and pattern seed. Factory New is a thin market of about 300 pairs, so the $5,600 figure is the cheapest of a handful of listings, not a stable price. Steam's own Market is a different price: the cheapest Field-Tested Vice there was $464.51 on 10 October 2026, against $339 across other markets, because Steam sales pay out in wallet funds and carry a 15% fee. Trades are reversible for seven days under Steam's Trade Protection, which is why peer-to-peer markets hold your payment for about a week. And Vice cannot be made from a StatTrak contract: five StatTrak Coverts only ever return a knife.
Questions at the counter
How much are Vice gloves in CS2?
From $229 Battle-Scarred and $339 Field-Tested to $1,074 Minimal Wear and $5,600 Factory New, cheapest listings across tracked markets on 10 October 2026.
What case are Vice gloves from?
The Clutch Case (February 2018) and the Revolution Case (9 February 2023), which share the same 24-glove set. On 10 October 2026 they cost $0.63 and $0.21 on Steam.
Are Vice gloves worth it?
In Field-Tested, for the look, yes: it is where most pairs trade, so you can choose a float and still pay a fraction of Minimal Wear. As a store of value, no: Field-Tested fell about 71% in the year to October 2026.
What knife goes with Vice gloves?
A knife with pink in it: a Fade, a Doppler Phase 2 or a Marble Fade. Match the price too; a Field-Tested Vice with a Nomad Fade or Talon Fade looks more coherent than a Battle-Scarred pair with a Karambit.
What is the cheapest Vice gloves wear?
Battle-Scarred, from $229 on 10 October 2026. Well-Worn at $295 is the cheaper step if Battle-Scarred looks too dull.
