Hand Wraps in CS2: All 12 Finishes, Bands and Which Case (2026)

Hand Wraps are the odd family out: not gloves but wrapped gauze and tape with the fingertips bare, which is why they are the family whose Battle-Scarred pairs look most intentional. Twelve finishes across the three case sets ran from about $35 for a Desert Shamagh to about $1,190 for a Factory New Slaughter on 9 September 2026. This fitting covers all twelve, the print-versus-dye rule that decides which ones to buy worn, and the case each comes from.

What Hand Wraps are

Valve's text: "preferred by hand-to-hand fighters, these wraps protect the knuckles and stabilize the wrist when punching." They are bias-tape or gauze wound over the palm and knuckles, fingers bare, and the finish is a dye or a print on the tape. Four came in the Glove Case set in 2016, four in the Clutch set in 2018 and four in the Broken Fang set in 2020; the Dead Hand Collection added none.

The Glove Case set: Slaughter, Leather, Badlands, Spruce DDPAT

Hand Wraps | Slaughter — glove render
Hand Wraps | Slaughter — dyed crimson. ≈$163 BS to ≈$1,192 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Slaughter is the family's most expensive finish at ≈$163 BS to ≈$1,192 FN — crimson-dyed wraps whose item text jokes that you cannot see where the fabric ends and the bloodstains begin; Leather (≈$185 BS to ≈$988 FN) is brown leather over gauze and the second prize; Badlands (≈$85 BS to ≈$699 FN) is the scavenged-materials pair; Spruce DDPAT (≈$90 BS to ≈$571 FN) the grey digital camo. All four are Glove Case and Hydra items, so supply is thin and the mid-wear asks can sit out of order.

Hand Wraps | Leather — glove render
Hand Wraps | Leather — leather, gauze and, per the item text, wicked intent. ≈$185 BS to ≈$988 FN, read 9 September 2026.

The Clutch set: Cobalt Skulls, Duct Tape, Overprint, Arboreal

Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls — glove render
Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls — blue bias tape printed with skulls. ≈$149 BS to ≈$1,123 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Cobalt Skulls (≈$149 BS to ≈$1,123 FN) is the family's icon and the best blue glove under $150; Duct Tape (≈$40 BS to ≈$436 FN) is grey tape over gauze, the most searched budget glove in the game and the pair that looks correct scuffed; Overprint (≈$57 BS to ≈$385 FN) is black tape with a rubberised geometric print; Arboreal (≈$36 BS to ≈$156 FN) is the forest camo and the family's second-cheapest entry. Clutch and Revolution cases; five Revolution Coverts craft one for about $110, which keeps this set's floor low.

Hand Wraps | Duct Tape — glove render
Hand Wraps | Duct Tape — the floor pair that is supposed to look scuffed. ≈$40 BS to ≈$436 FN, read 9 September 2026.

The Broken Fang set: CAUTION!, Desert Shamagh, Giraffe, Constrictor

Hand Wraps | CAUTION! — glove render
Hand Wraps | CAUTION! — yellow-and-black hazard tape. ≈$91 BS to ≈$559 FN, read 9 September 2026.

CAUTION! (≈$91 BS to ≈$559 FN) is hazard tape and the only yellow glove that reads as yellow at range; Desert Shamagh (≈$35 BS to ≈$233 FN) is the tan keffiyeh print and the family floor; Giraffe (≈$36 BS to ≈$193 FN) and Constrictor (≈$36 BS to ≈$209 FN) are the animal prints at about $36. Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil cases; five Snakebite or Recoil Coverts craft one for about $115–130.

Cobalt Skulls or Slaughter: the two with a ceiling

Cobalt Skulls for a loadout, Slaughter for a collection. They are the only Hand Wraps whose Factory New listings clear $1,000 — Cobalt Skulls at ≈$149 BS to ≈$1,123 FN, Slaughter at ≈$163 BS to ≈$1,192 FN on 9 September 2026 — and they get there by opposite routes. Cobalt Skulls is a 2018 Clutch-set print that stays liquid because it is the blue glove everyone under $150 shops for; Slaughter is a 2016 Glove Case dye whose supply is thin and whose asks jump between wears. In first person the skull print reads at any float, while Slaughter's crimson needs a low float to stay crimson, so a Field-Tested Cobalt Skulls is a safer purchase than a Field-Tested Slaughter at the same money.

Why Hand Wraps are the fastest-moving floor

Because they are the cheapest thing a trade-up can make. Five Revolution or Snakebite Coverts cost about $110–130 in Battle-Scarred and return a random glove from a 24-glove set in which four are Hand Wraps, and a Battle-Scarred wrap is exactly what a Battle-Scarred trade-up produces. On 9 September 2026 five of the twelve wraps listed under $40, and the July-to-September fall in the family's floor tracked the same trade-up supply that pulled the Hydra Gloves down. If you want a wrap, there is no reason to wait for a better price; if you want to sell one, expect to price under the last sale.

Wear on Hand Wraps: prints over dyes

Tape is supposed to be scuffed, so a Battle-Scarred Duct Tape or CAUTION! looks like a used pair rather than a ruined one — the only family where the top of the float window is a look rather than a defect. The exception is dye: Slaughter and Leather discolour above about 0.40 and lose the deep colour that is the whole point. Rule: prints (Cobalt Skulls, CAUTION!, Giraffe, Constrictor, Spruce, Arboreal, Overprint) at any float you like; dyes (Slaughter, Leather, Badlands) in Field-Tested under 0.30.

Which case, and where to buy

Hand Wraps drop from all seven glove cases and not from the Dead Hand Terminal, so the case and trade-up routes in the complete CS2 gloves guide apply and the terminal does not. For a Cobalt Skulls or Slaughter use a float-visible listing (Skinport, CSFloat, SkinBaron for the 2016 pair); for Duct Tape at the floor the float barely matters, so a bot swap of skins you already own is fine. Expected spend to pull any glove from a Snakebite Case at the reported 0.26 percent is about $1,100; a Duct Tape listing is $40.

Questions at the counter

How much are Duct Tape gloves?

Hand Wraps | Duct Tape listed from about $40 in Battle-Scarred to about $436 in Factory New on 9 September 2026. It is the one glove we would happily buy at the top of the float window.

What is the cheapest Hand Wraps finish?

Desert Shamagh at about $35, then Arboreal, Constrictor and Giraffe at about $36, all read 9 September 2026.

Which case has Hand Wraps?

Glove Case and Hydra (Slaughter, Leather, Badlands, Spruce DDPAT), Clutch and Revolution (Cobalt Skulls, Duct Tape, Overprint, Arboreal), and Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil (CAUTION!, Desert Shamagh, Giraffe, Constrictor). None in the 2026 Dead Hand set.

Are Hand Wraps gloves?

They are classed as gloves — ★ Extraordinary, 0.06–0.80 float, same slot — but they are wraps with bare fingertips, so they show less finish and read more casual than any glove family.

Which Hand Wraps look best at high float?

Duct Tape, CAUTION!, Cobalt Skulls and the camo prints (Arboreal, Spruce DDPAT). Tape and printed gauze read as used rather than damaged; the dyed wraps — Slaughter, Leather, Badlands — are the ones to keep under 0.30.

Every band in this fitting comes from the same read as the complete CS2 gloves guide, where all 94 finishes sit in one table.
