Best CS2 Gloves in 2026: 12 Picks at Every Budget (Bands Dated)

The best CS2 gloves depend on the budget, so this is four short lists rather than one: under $100, under $300, under $1,000 and no limit, twelve gloves in all, each with the band we read on 9 September 2026 and the float we would hold out for. "Best" here means how the finish reads in first person, how it wears, and whether you could sell it again — not what a tracker says is expensive.

How we picked

Three tests. Does the design survive Field-Tested float, because that is where you will buy? Does it read at a glance on a first-person model, because that is the whole product? And is it liquid — are there enough listings that you could sell it inside a week if you changed your mind? Prestige counted for nothing; two of the twelve are sub-$40 gloves and none is a Factory New anything. All bands are lowest Battle-Scarred to lowest Factory New listing; the full 94-row table is in the complete CS2 gloves guide. Where two finishes tied, we took the one from a set that is still refilled by trade-ups, because a refilled floor is a floor you can buy back into.

Under $100

Driver Gloves | Racing Green — glove render
Driver Gloves | Racing Green — ≈$27 BS to ≈$196 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Driver Gloves | Racing Green (≈$27 BS to ≈$196 FN): the cheapest full-fingered glove in the game and a colour that carries a green loadout; hold out for Field-Tested under 0.25. Specialist Gloves | Buckshot (≈$36 BS to ≈$204 FN): the tactical silhouette in a khaki that does not fade; any Field-Tested pair. Hand Wraps | Duct Tape (≈$40 BS to ≈$436 FN): the one glove that looks right scuffed, so buy the cheapest float you see. Hydra Gloves | Emerald (≈$31 BS to ≈$156 FN): the black glove at the floor for people who want the gloves to disappear.

Under $300

Sport Gloves | Omega — glove render
Sport Gloves | Omega — ≈$122 BS to ≈$1,339 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Sport Gloves | Omega (≈$122 BS to ≈$1,339 FN): black synthetic with yellow, the cheapest Sport glove that looks like a Sport glove; fabric wears evenly, so Field-Tested to 0.30 is fine. Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard (≈$194 BS to ≈$1,899 FN): the most searched mid-band glove for a reason — white hide with black spots that survive float; under 0.20 if you can. Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls (≈$149 BS to ≈$1,123 FN): the best blue under $150 and a print that keeps its look at any wear. Sport Gloves | Vice (≈$239 BS to ≈$5,852 FN): the famous pink-and-blue pair, now inside a $300 budget in Battle-Scarred and around it in Well-Worn; Field-Tested from about 0.25 is the value float.

Under $1,000

Moto Gloves | Spearmint — glove render
Moto Gloves | Spearmint — ≈$307 BS to ≈$5,554 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Moto Gloves | Spearmint (≈$307 BS to ≈$5,554 FN): white leather, red stitching, the heaviest silhouette in the game; a Field-Tested pair under 0.25 sits in this band and looks like the Factory New. Sport Gloves | Ultra Violent (≈$559 BS to ≈$5,028 FN): the 2026 set's flagship and the best purple glove that is not Pandora's Box; Battle-Scarred and Well-Worn fit the budget. Sport Gloves | Superconductor (≈$785 BS to ≈$7,888 FN): blue and black, the liquid one — a Battle-Scarred Superconductor at about $785 will sell again the day you list it.

No limit

Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono — glove render
Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono — ≈$1,086 BS to ≈$8,390 FN, read 9 September 2026.

Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono (≈$1,086 BS to ≈$8,390 FN): the best red glove in the game and the best pattern for a wide tactical cuff; a Minimal Wear pair is the sane ceiling. Beyond it sit Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box (≈$1,935 BS to ≈$22,200 FN) and Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze (≈$2,147 BS to ≈$26,079 FN), the two most expensive gloves in CS2. We list them because you asked, not because we would pay for Factory New: two trackers disagreed by more than half on Pandora's Box FN on our read-day, which is what a thin market looks like. If you want one, buy it in Field-Tested and put the difference in the rest of the loadout.

Three we left out, and why

Sport Gloves | Bronze Morph is the cheapest Sport glove (≈$66 BS to ≈$414 FN) and we left it out because red-and-green synthetic reads as neither colour at range; a Racing Green does the green better for a third of the money. Driver Gloves | Convoy (≈$60 BS to ≈$581 FN) is a handsome brown 2016 glove that we left out for its listings, not its looks — on 9 September 2026 its Field-Tested asks sat above its Well-Worn ones by several hundred dollars, which is what a two-listing market looks like and not something to buy into. And the 2026 Driver Gloves | Hand Sweaters (≈$83 BS to ≈$1,060 FN) is the set's novelty knit; it is fun in a render and muddy in first person, where a knitted texture at 0.30 float looks like a worn one at 0.60.

The pattern in those three is the pattern in the list: we pick gloves that read at a glance, wear predictably and sell easily, and we skip anything whose price depends on a thin book of listings. A glove you can resell inside a week is a glove you can change your mind about.

The float we would hold out for

A tier is a label; a float is a price. Every glove is capped 0.06–0.80, so Field-Tested spans 0.15 to 0.38 and the low end looks nothing like the high end. Our numbers: pale leather (Snow Leopard, Spearmint, King Snake) under 0.20; dark leather (Emerald, Crimson Kimono, Racing Green) under 0.30; synthetic Sport fabric to 0.30; printed wraps (Duct Tape, Cobalt Skulls) anywhere. Marketplaces that filter by float make this a one-click habit; the buying section of the guide lists which ones do, with fees. And check the date on every band — gloves reprice daily, and a list without a date is a guess.

Questions at the counter

What are the best gloves in CS2?

By our tests — look at Field-Tested float, legibility in first person, liquidity — Racing Green, Buckshot, Duct Tape and Emerald under $100; Omega, Snow Leopard, Cobalt Skulls and Vice under $300; Spearmint, Ultra Violent and Superconductor under $1,000; Crimson Kimono with no limit.

What are the best cheap gloves?

Driver Gloves | Racing Green (about $27 BS), Specialist Gloves | Buckshot (about $36), Hand Wraps | Duct Tape (about $40) and Hydra Gloves | Emerald (about $31), all read 9 September 2026. The Racing Green in low Field-Tested is the pick.

Are expensive gloves worth it?

Only if the pattern is the point. Above about $1,000 you are paying for scarcity created by a 0.06–0.07 Factory New window and a 2016 case that no longer drops, not for a better-looking glove in first person. A Field-Tested pair of the same finish looks nearly identical in a match.

Which glove holds value best?

Liquidity beats price. Superconductor, Vice, Snow Leopard and Crimson Kimono always have buyers; thin 2016 finishes like Convoy or Forest DDPAT can sit for weeks. Nothing in this class has held value since the October 2025 trade-up update, so buy to wear.

Should I buy a new 2026 glove or an older one?

Older, unless the pattern is the reason. The Dead Hand set carries a novelty premium that has been eroding since March 2026 as terminals and trade-ups add supply; the older sets already repriced in October 2025. Seigaiha and Creme Pinstripe are the two new gloves cheap enough to ignore that advice.

Every band in this fitting comes from the same read as the complete CS2 gloves guide, where all 94 finishes sit in one table.
